Stuffing & Unstuffing (Container Freight Station – CFS)

LCT has a 2.20 ha area (CFS), next to the empty container park, for container Stuffing and Unstuffing operations in the terminal. The management of containers’ stuffing and unstuffing and other related activities is outsourced and entrusted to MEDLOG TOGO the logistics branch of the maritime agency MSC TOGO. The presence of customs officers and other partner services is required before opening the import containers to be emptied and when stuffing the export containers.

The transfer to the CFS of the import containers to be emptied and the transfer of full containers from the CFS to the container park are billed according to the rates in force. LCT verifies the existence of lead seals on full containers as well as the state of empty containers to be transferred to the park of empty containers.
